Rick’s Piano Academy

Piano and chamber music coaching for students of all ages and skill levels. These lessons are available in person in my Evanston, Illinois studio, or via Skype.

My unique blend of musical, technical, and historical knowledge will support you along your journey, whether you're grappling with a Bach invention, a Beethoven sonata, a Chopin etude, a Joplin rag, a Debussy prelude or a piece using extended techniques.

My goal is to help you be the very best version of your musical self that you can be!

I'll study the history and significance of your piece (no matter how grand or modest) and know it from the inside out before we work together. I bring all of my 35+ years of teaching and performing experience to serve your needs.
