Starting in 2013, the Musical Offering began presenting Music on Madison concerts, which take place in our beautiful Madison recital hall. Musical Offering teachers, all of whom are active professional musicians in addition to their teaching, present monthly concerts alongside their professional collaborators. Genres include classical chamber music, jazz, folk, new music, world music, rock, and more. The Musical Offering faculty are active in such ensembles as the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, the Elgin Symphony, the Lyric Opera, the Chicago Philharmonic, the Northbrook Symphony, and more. Music on Madison concerts are open to the public and offered for free to Music Offering students, providing an opportunity for community members to attend professional concerts in an intimate venue at affordable prices and exposing students to a wide variety of musical styles.
