The music of Chicago composer Stacy Garrop has become synonymous with the exploration of the sound relationships between instruments and/or voices in settings large and small, as well as examining current societal and past historical trends through a musical lens. I have long been a fan of her music and am thrilled to be playing her Silver Dagger for violin, cello and piano.
