My unique blend of musical, technical, and historical knowledge, along with over 35 years of teaching experience, supports you along your journey to build your keyboard skills.

I offer the following types of lessons (all are remote for now):

  • Private Piano Lesson: choose a 30, 45, or 60 minute session. Click your choice on the chart below to be directed to the online order form.

  • Piano Coaching: for pianists who are preparing for auditions, recitals, or competitions and are seeking my expert guidance and artistic support. Click your choice on the chart below.

  • Chamber Music Coaching: for any ensemble that would include a piano. One hour sessions. Gain perspective and ideas...chamber music is my passion! Click your choice on the chart below (available in 60 minute sessions only).

  • Music Analysis: We explore and analyze music from a composer’s point of view. We reveal the structure of the music. This allows us to gain a deeper understanding of the composer’s style and intent...and it's fun! Choose from the following options:

    • $50 for a single, 45 minute analysis session on the piece of your choice.

    • $120 for three analysis sessions on the music of your choice.

    • $120 for three sessions analyzing the Bach Chorale (known as the bedrock of common harmonic language and the clever use of non-harmonic tones!

You choose a piece of music to explore with me. It could be a Bach invention, a Beethoven sonata, a Chopin etude, a Joplin rag, a Debussy prelude, a piece using extended techniques, or any musical composition you’d like, even your own music! I'll study the history of your piece (no matter how grand or modest) and know it from the inside out before we work together.
